Apparently they changed the smell of Luvs, which hasn't really changed at all since the 80's at least. It now has some weird Lavander smell and I don't like information technology at all. I but have ii Luvs left with the old odor. I've been trying to figure out how to replicate the odour (vanilla and rose is the closest I tin get, but it isn't right). It is actually disappointing, the erstwhile aroma lights upwardly my brain with nostalgia and information technology is how diapers are supposed to aroma to my brain. The new smell simply makes me sad. Guess I am going to have to look for old packs to buy online. Hopefully I will exist able to friction match the odour shortly.

Gah! The babe companies are ruining everything, as per usual. No talcum baby powder with that perfect scent, and now they take the audacity to mess with the classic Luvs diaper smell???? Hopefully it is like "new Coke," a total flop, and they volition return to the classic Luvs diaper olfactory property. Thankfully I take many cases of the archetype Luvs diapers on hand to concluding me awhile.

I hope so also. You know, it is weird. I am looking at the old package with the classic smell and the new package with the lavender odor. The lot numbers are exactly the same, even though I bought the old one months ago and the new one today. I am most confused, simply the smell is definitely different.

Lol, I wish! I buy them for the odor by and large and sometimes use as a diaper stuffer. I cut off the wings and then I cut the velco tabs off the wings. I use those velcro tabs to secure the diaper inside an developed diaper (typically betterdry). I do torso building, so no adventure of me fitting in a infant diaper.

Luvs is the same company as Pampers which too makes a product called Dreft that smells only like Pampers. They sell it in a fabric spray just the laundry beads smell so much improve. Mix some upward in a spray canteen with water and a little alcohol to aid evaporation and y'all've got 18-carat Pamper smell. I'm not sure if it'southward the same smell Luvs uses but it'southward absolutely lovely and cornball notwithstanding.

Luvs is the same company as Pampers which as well makes a production called Dreft that smells just similar Pampers. They sell it in a fabric spray but the laundry beads smell so much ameliorate. Mix some up in a spray bottle with h2o and a little booze to help evaporation and you've got genuine Pamper smell. I'chiliad not sure if it's the aforementioned odour Luvs uses but it'due south absolutely lovely and nostalgic nonetheless.
Thanks for the suggestions, they are always appreciated and tried, The aroma is different from Luvs. I have tried the Dreft matter before. I have tried everything including: Dana Dear's Babe Soft perfume, Dreft, Secret Powder Deodorant in stick and aerosol, essential oil mixtures including Varied combinations of rose, vanilla, pineapple, and violet. Pampers do smell nice, but Luvs are the ones that set off the fireworks in my brain.

i have spent xx years trying to blast these scents down, and information technology is almost impossible. Scents are so complex with many different chemicals. Having said that, I accept walked through parking lots and gotten a whiff of something very close on two occasions, making me recollect that there is a perfume that is very shut. But with millions of perfumes out there, I have yet to find it. I would think there are moms from the 80's who would know if they encountered such a perfume. But I take never read much in the perfume forums. Perhaps some day. I think P&G could make a killing selling information technology as a modern perfume, Information technology has been then many years, we are the only ones that would know the true origin.

i have spent 20 years trying to nail these scents downwards, and information technology is near impossible. Scents are so circuitous with many different chemicals. Having said that, I have walked through parking lots and gotten a whiff of something very close on two occasions, making me think that there is a perfume that is very close. But with millions of perfumes out there, I have yet to find it. I would think in that location are moms from the fourscore's who would know if they encountered such a perfume. Simply I have never read much in the perfume forums. Peradventure some day. I remember P&G could make a killing selling it equally a mod perfume, It has been so many years, nosotros are the just ones that would know the true origin.
I will make it my mission to discover and recreate the scent. I will distribute the recipe for gratis to all. I take been touched by the Diaper God himself to consummate this task. I have been blessed with an amazing sense of smell.

So is the new scent the same every bit say ever discreet pull ups, if and then that's a chip disappointing
It just smells like Lavander flowers to me. Very disappointing. But the weird thing is the lot numbers are the aforementioned for a good smelling pack I bought months agone.
Here is a sequence of events:
1: was down to last two diapers from a pack of size 6 Luvs triple leak guards. Let's say Lot: A
two: bought new pack of the aforementioned size / model yesterday from a CVS nearby. Open it up and it has some weird powerful Lavender olfactory property. Observe that in that location is a large xanthous label on it saying "NEW". Let's call this Lot: B. Check quondam pack out, it of course doesn't have this "NEW" characterization.
3: today in a panic I checked stores for a pack of LUVS without this "NEW" label. Offset Walmart and then another different CVS. Notice two packs of diapers without the "NEW" Label at the CVS. Bring these home, both have the aforementioned exact Lot number as Lot A. Both smell like the new lavender.
I have a feeling that this new Lavender smell on the Lot: B diapers overpowered the original smell of these older Lot A packs, simply by being stocked near them on the shelf. Like the erstwhile diapers absorbed the new stronger aroma.
Either that or I am losing my mind. I don't similar the prospect of either.
